Love this video I followed Hector everywhere I was able..As a matter of fact I was always at the Cheetah and I am dancing in the background…..Those were the days….I loved that MAN..his music stayed in your soul….he is in my prayers and Hector Lavoe will never be forgotten he is the King of Salsa…………Que Dios Lo Tenga Descansando…Love you Hector!!!!!!!!!

no hay duda que cuando johnny pacheco unio a estos dos grandes de la musica lo demas fui historia i el unico que llegaba tarde y decia lo que queria en el esenario fue hector lavoe y la gente lo queria igual no habido ninguno que lo haiga podido hacer.

Hector is the best, God Bless him, I’ve seen Hector perform live, and forget dancing, you’ll just want to get as close to the stage as you can to see him and hear him sing. I was married in June 24, 1982, I saw Hector perform in Night Trax, club in Fordham Road in thew Bronx, I tell you he was at his best, I met him and shook his hand. His words before I shook his hand was “deja ver lo que este tipo tiene que decirme”, I told him that was a beautiful performance, he was at his best…..
