I had the pleasure of seeeing Hector perform live in the late 70′s and the early 80′s. I saw him in 1979 at Club Aretama in Queens,NY and asked him to take a picute with me, he then brought me up on stage with him and we took a picture together. (I still have that picture). It is remarkable that a man of such immense talent was so dwon to earth and humble in person.
