Hace poco que empece a escuchar la musica de hector pienso que fue unico y pienso que aunque su vida fue dificil nos dejo lo que a el mas le gustaba su musica,y una alegria cada vez que la escuchemos.

Hector is and always will be the BEST Salsa singer in the history of music. His voice would touch your soul when you were out and down. Once you heard his voice it was like magic, your feet starts to move your upper body is moving as well and by the time his song was over he took to another place. Places like Ponce, he would put you to read a newspaper because her love was from yesterday “Tu Amor Es Un Periodico De Ayer”. He would let the girl know that she’s a “Bandolera”
Hector was something special he came for the “La Isla Del Encanto”. When he sang “Mi Gente” everyone knew it was about them, his people, he sang for his people “Mi Gente”. Hector Lavoe, I hope you are singing to the angels in heaven. Tell God that your people are doing good and keeping the faith.
